In 2022 I got a chance to visit the Grand Canyon. It was a spectacular place, and the views were gorgeous. My favorite work from that trip was facing the Desert View Watchtower. The human element stands in such stark contrast as such a small part of the scene that I think it works to add a sense of scale instead of overpowering the view.
